This is a plain weave silk, 8mm in weight. These silks are great for layers, linings, and anything where you need just a whisper of silk, but not entirely sheer.
Dry clean, and your silk will stay crisp and shiny. Wash by hand and pop in the dryer, and you'll get a light, puffy cloud of silk, with a little less shine.
