If you have any questions that we haven't answered below, please don't hesitate to email us, or use  our web site chat bot.  If we're awake, we'll answer you right away!  Chances are, you'll get the owner of the company, or at very least, a manager. We promise you will NEVER get an offshore call center.  You can also just call the shop any time we're open.

VIDEO TUTORIALS:

If you have purchased a pattern that includes a video tutorial, the link to the tutorial will be at the top of the first page of instructions. Just type that link into your browser EXACTLY as written, and you'll get right to the page with the tutorial.  

FABRIC CUTS:

We will always send your fabric in one continuous length, unless we first get your permission to do otherwise.  We are sorry, but cut fabrics are not returnable.

We do offer swatches on some of our fabrics.  Just put this product in your cart for as many swatches as you would like, and fill out the little box telling us which fabrics you would like to see, and check out. We'll get those swatches out to you right away.

WASHING AND PRE-WASHING:

YES, PRE-WASH YOUR FABRICS!  You don't want to spend forever sewing something, only to have it shrink after you've worn it once!

How to wash?  Depends on your fabric, and the results you want.

Cottons, Rayons, Hemps, & Linens: Pre-Wash however you plan to wash them later.  I like hot water and a hot dryer.  Then you know for sure they've really shrunk before you cut.  If you take 'em out of the dryer right away, they might not even need ironing, especially after the second or third wash.

Silks and Wools:  Washing WILL change the character of the fabrics. 

For Silks, if you want to maintain the shine, then DRY CLEAN.  If you want a soft, puffy, sand-wash finish, then wash warm, cool dry. 

For Wools, pre-washing will full them up and make them warmer.  You'll get a LOT of shrinkage, but that's fine. Buy an extra half-yard if you plan to wash.  Just make sure your water isn't too hot, or you may felt it.  If you want to keep your wool just the way you bought it, then DRY CLEAN.  Personally, I like it washed...  Maybe do a test and see how you like it?

SHIPPING

When your order ships out you will get an email with tracking information.  It will come from orders@eurekafabrics.com  Be sure to check your spam folder, just in case. The only exception is for orders that are for Card Patterns only.  Those will ship First Class Mail, and are not trackable.  This saves you money!

If you think you are being overcharged for shipping, please check out anyway, and then contact us.  We promise we will make it right.

Some of our fabrics ship from a remote warehouse.  There will be a note in the product description letting you know how long it should take.  This usually ads 4-7 days to shipping time, but we promise it's worth it!

PATTERNS & SIZES

*Our patterns are all available as Hard Copy or Digital Download.  Please make sure you choose which delivery you want.  All patterns include all sizes (except for patterns that also offer an XL sizes pack.)  You can find our size chart HERE.

Digital download patterns that are not "Card Patterns" will require taping together.  Your pattern will include a map of how the pattern goes together.  Just trim the edges, match up the cutting lines, and have your tape ready.  We find that re-watching Pride and Prejudice (with Colin Firth, of course!) can aid in this endeavor.

Digital download patterns are not refundable. However, if you decide you want the hard copy instead, contact us, and we will set up an order for the hard copy, and deduct the price of the digital download.
