The lace foundation is 1" wide, and the entire trim, including foundation and fringe is 3.75" wide.

Use one row for a touch of class, or layer it like crazy for maximum drama!  

We've washed ours a ton, using a mesh lingerie bag so the fringe doesn't get crazy.
