Drape Front Jacket Pattern - HARD COPY OR DIGITAL DOWNLOAD

Elegant, easy-fit jacket with a wide drape in front.  Designed to be made unlined, this lovely wrap works well in fabrics from lawn to linen, wool crepe to wool melton, and everything in between - even stable knits.  Make it long or short.   VERY easy to sew. Whip one up in an afternoon....

Sizes based on HIGH BUST:

S 32-35/ M 36-39/ L 40-42/ XL43-46 

Your HIGH BUST is the measurement under your arms, not across your breast area. This gives you the size of your frame, so the shoulders and neck will fit correctly. If the difference between your HIGH BUST and your FULL BUST is more than 1.5”, you will want to do a FULL BUST ADJUSTMENT. All Sizes 60” fabric 3 yards long, 2.5 yards shortRecommended fabrics:
Just about any woven, from Denim to Flannel, from Wool Crepe to Silk Charmeuse, and Stable Knits such as Interlock and Ponte.

The reverse side of your fabric will likely be visible, so we recommend choosing fabric with a nice reverse.

This pattern is recommended for sewists who are already familiar with basic sewing techniques.
