If you are using contrasting fabric for your waist band, ru es, and pockets, you will need 1/2 yard for the main skirt (or more, if you want a longer apron), and 1/2 yard for the contrasting elements (or more, if you want large or many pockets.
We recommend our high quality quilting cotton, broadcloth, or linen for this apron. Linen will give you a wonderful Downton Abbey e ect. Small calico print or gingham will make your apron Civil War era. Muted florals will look 1930s. Or go crazy with colors and make your apron perfect for today and tomorrow!
